Photographer
Fashion & Still Life
Having spent my early years in Tokyo, it was a life changing experience to arrive with my family to live in London in the midst of the swinging 60's.
Through my camera I tried to establish a connection with all the new things around me.
This wonder and feeling of looking sharply at everything for the first time is still with me now; back in Tokyo and working from my natural light studio, The Glass House.
My photographs have been published in British Vogue, Harper's and Queen, Nova, Flair, The Observer, AnAn Elle Japon, Ryūkō Tsūshin among others.
I have also created images for Shiseidō, Suntory, Seibu, Wacoal, Isetan and Mitsukoshi advertising.
